Karly Jacobs just wanted a holiday away from everything — technology, stress, and the commonplace irritations of everyday life. However, upon her arrival at the restful Castle Amberley, she finds her old friend the Doctor is also in attendance, there for reasons that he will not fully explain. As the visitors and workers of Amberley begin to fall prey to an alien intelligence that exploits their unconscious, Karly finds her holiday has turned into a nightmare she may never escape from.
